The following experience/qualifications are required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Health, Safety, Environmental and/or Manufacturing preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in a safety and quality compliance role, manufacturing environment and supervisory experience preferred.
- Must have experience and knowledge of ISO 9001.
- Must have experience and understanding of OSHA and other EH&S regulatory agency requirements.
- Experience facilitating in-person training.
- Experience with continuous improvement methods, approaches and tools.
- Will consider a combination of education and experience.
- Quality System Certification a plus.
- Effective professional communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills are required.
- Excellent time management, ability to meet deadlines, organizational and planning skills are required.
- Strong Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) & Outlook skills.
- Understands various quality standards, measurement systems, and equipment, including ISO 9001.
- Self-motivated and driven
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Mechanical ability and aptitude are especially helpful.
- Must pass pre-employment background, physical and drug tests.
